What’s a girl to do to jazz up a regular old self-portrait? Get her dad’s old aviator glasses, that’s what.

I’m trying to be a bit looser in my paint technique, and with this piece I finally feel like I’m getting somewhere with the looseness.  Also used a limited palette discovered while copying a Sargent watercolor – it’s so refreshing to use six colors instead of 20+!
